I am sat writing this at 7am, it is absolutely pouring with rain (hurrah!) after a blistering hot few weeks. Today I am off to London to drop off my goodies to the Crafty Fox Pop Up shop which is on Oxford Street - an amazing location for us small businesses too!
The past month has been very difficult, juggling life and making has been tough while dealing with a family emergency - everything in the studio came to an abrupt halt for a while, things have picked up and I find it a blessing to be able to scurry off into my studio, a place to process my thoughts along with my making... Tools have been picked back up, however I am trying to put no pressure on myself and just enjoy it.
I have also got some more pieces going into KIT Lifestyle in Broadstairs and also the wonderful Barkened store in Deal. Emma from Barkened and I have been working towards something very special, collecting sands, shells, clays from our local environment and handcrafting wax burners - these will be available in store and a handful on my online store too in the coming week.
I must update this more, its nice to have somewhere to just throw down words. I will upload a photo of the Oxford street store later today or tomorrow!
